Applications

  • Platform EMS is designed to provide moisture mitigation in concrete surfaces, making it an ideal solution for:
    • Concrete floors in basements and other below-grade areas
    • Concrete surfaces subject to high humidity levels (up to 100% relative humidity)
    • Concrete surfaces subject to high moisture vapor emissions (up to 25 lbs MVER)
  • Platform EMS can be used in both new construction and renovation projects, and is suitable for use on green concrete as quickly as 7 days after placement.
  • Additionally, Platform EMS may contribute to LEED certification of projects in the categories of Indoor Environmental Quality (EQ 4.2) and Materials and Resources (MR 5.1)

Always make sure to follow the preparation instructions provided by the manufacturer, including testing the concrete surface for moisture levels, identifying and addressing sources of water infiltration and ensuring the surface is clean, sound, stable, and dry before applying the product
