Glitsa Bacca Sealer is a 2 component acid cure sealer. This sealer is a overnight dry sealer that typically gives good open time that allows ease of use to the contractor. Bacca has great open time which is a huge benefit for contractors. The extended open time, 24 hours, also allows for the finish to settle better and typically be more even. Bacca sealer is designed to be used on natural wood floors and stained floors.
Due to the open time however, it takes longer for it to dry and overnight sometimes is not enough. The finish is ready for a new coat overnight in most cases and performs well even in high humidity. Bacca Sealer can be applied with a brush, roller, t-bar or mop. It should cover 300-350 square feet per gallon.
When putting down a sealer like Bacca you need to make sure the house is well ventilated, the AC and heater are off and that all pilot lights are out. When coating the floor you will want to block out any larger windows which can cause the finish to flash cure and not flow out correctly.
You are able to use this sealer for Gold Seal, Lite Scent & Multikote.
